.....I'm twenty-three baby!!!!

I did ponder naming this blog something like 'Forever Young'  or I even thought I could get away with one of Britney's finest songs: I'm not a Girl Not Yet a Woman. Alas, I came to my senses and admitted defeat that I am officially OLD!!!! Like, know how when you turn 18 and even 21 you think fuck I'm old, but at that age its still socially acceptable to not really know where your life is going and not giving two hoots about it. Doing that at 23 isn't as socially acceptable and at 24 it definitely isn't. Therefore, I've got a year to get my shizz together (And in that year learn to stop using words such as 'shizz' in a vain attempt to appear to be still 'down with the kidz').

So this was my birthday night out outfit. The night before I had a big night out in Glasgow with my friends which was fabby.  In the infamous words of Mr.Chow: We had a sick night bitches! Unfortunately, the day after I definitely felt my age therefore my actual birthday was a lazy duvet day. My boyfriend and I had planned to go to Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant in Glasgow but that idea got shelved in favour of a big greasy cheeseburger at TGI's once the hangover kicked in.

But I was well and truly spoiled on the day and got lots of goodies that I'll show you in my up and coming posts. I'm now off to go and soak up some Vitamin D before my 8 hour shift tonight.

Smell ya'al later!

Its been awhile...

Although it looks as if I've played around with the saturation in this pic. I haven't  I just seriously overloaded  with the fake tan- L'Oreal sublime in case you wanted to know.

It's been literally forever since I last done an outfit post. I have been taking pictures but I just haven't got round to posting them. Bad blogger face :(
So this is what I wore to my niece's 1st Birthday shindig last week, and I really liked it. Yes, they really are 100 denier tights that I'm wearing, and yes I really needed to wear them. It. was. that.cold!

My top and skirt is from Primark and I needed to go the size bigger in my top to fit in my bust which is a real shame because I felt my normal size showed off my waist more. But its still pretty all the same. The skirt, however, was a pain in the butt! It creased a peach especially after jumping in a ball swamp with two 1 year olds.As the day went on I got some very disapproving looks from my gran who's pet hate is creased clothes. So just a heads up for those considering buying this skirt.

Finally, I'm showcasing my new shoes from H&M and they will feature in much of my summer outfits cause I'm in love! But!!! I purchased them at full retail price in the shop but when I got home I discovered they were more than half price in the sale on the internet. Does anyone know if I'm within my rights of being refunded the difference?

My life in Picture # 3.

Hey guys,

Its been awhile therefore I bring you a visual snapshot of my life since we last spoke.

Well, in Scotland its mostly rained. Above was the outlook for when my friend and I decided to screw the weather and go out for 90 minute walk. At least the chat was good!
I have got tonnes of shorts and frilly skirts and floaty dresses all hanging in my wardrobe anxiously waiting to be aired out in public. Unfortunately, due to the weather ( see pic above) its only been my nails that have had an injection of summer if a little over-the-top hehe!

My friend who's started up a blog (who doesn't yet know I've got a blog- I will tell her soon I promise!) asked me to do pose for some pics for her. And this is some the result. I'm not going to go as far and state that I have a new found respect for models, but 'by heck!' It was a lot harder than I anticipated. And I hate seeing pictures of me without my cheesy grin for a security blanket.

Done my good dead for the summer and gave blood, and rewarded myself (the day after) with some cocktails.

Finally, the sun did come out to play for all of 48 hours and lucky me it was on my days off so the boy and I packed up and went back to nature. Loved, Loved Laaaaaved ittt!

And finally, I leave you with some sheep....
