And then there was light

Been shopping today, and after months of resisting new season items, I finally relented and got myself some pieces. And my, its cheered me up no end! This is a pic of my wardrobe they way it was before I added my finds today...

And as you can imagine it's been a bit depressing staring at these bland coloured items for the past few months. Some colour needed to be injected!

I hate wearing  all black- its so boring and does not suit my personality at all. These little beauties are sure to brighten up my day when I pull them on. For bold bright colours H&M and Zara have got the trend spot on. If I had the money I would have bought their whole collection today!

So you could say that's me started with the 'spring cleaning' of my wardrobe, in a few weeks most of the jumpers will get packed away into those plastic thingymejigs that you suck the air out of with a hoover, and more and more pinks, yellows, prints and florals will be added. I can't wait!

Tonight I'm applying fake tan as I've got a night out tomorrow. Its a 21st and when I mentioned this to my mum, she questioned whether I was a bit too old for that! Pfft the cheek!

Also, just cause the shops have closed doesn't mean the shopping has to stop! So I'm continuing with the brightening up my wardrobe theme and browsing online for some vibrant underwear. No mean feat when you're over DD I tell you! But this got my eye from asos, and I also stumbled upon my favourite lingerie brand's- Mimi Holliday- sale. I love this quintessentially french number as well as this leopard print one. I've lusted after these items for the past few months and I can't believe my luck that they are in my size and half price! I'm very much a believer in that you dress from within then outwards. Okay, that probably has  something to do with how nice a person you are but having great underwear is a start!
