Barry M 307 'lemon'

Hi there Girlies,

So hands up- who's still in bed whilst reading this post. What do you mean- Bank Holidays aren't brilliant excuses to have a duvet day and catch up on all your fave blogs- Well I never! ;D

I've got a flurry of social engagements coming up in the next few weeks, so I've been trying to pick out what I'm going to wear to all of them. I've counted out that I have at least 25 dresses in my wardrobe that have never been worn out with the friends that I'm going to all these parties with. I think its high time these dresses got dusted  down and and some airing out and about in Glasgow.

Thursday kicks everything off in a messy post exams- slash-birthday night out at one of the very studenty places in Glasgow. This renders all my pretty, floaty, delicate dresses that I wanna wear out the window. And makes anything disposable and made from Primark in. So I've plumped for a floral ditzy playsuit instead and it got me thinking about what to wear on my nails for said night out.

I bought this Barry M number a few weeks ago (when I still had money) and thought it would do the job. Pop colour- check, cheap- check, from reliable brand- check.
Unfortunately, its not quite what I'm after...
Hmmm... I don't know but does anyone else think it looks as if I've got splashes of sick on my nails? Just me then. For a 'lemon' colour it comes out more saffron than I would have liked. Also, it took a decent three sized coats to get a good coverage but I honestly can't remember the last time I had to do that with any of my other cheapo nail polishes.

Meh, just another nail polish to get flung into my ever expanding collection, never to see the light of day again!
Or am I being too harsh?

Ugh I totally know what you mean about this! I bought a yellow nail polish, I think it was collection 2000, thinking it would be totally 'out there' and cool. Truth is, most of my friends looked down at my hands in horror and never said a word...
WELL. I quite like it but I will probably only wear it on very select occasions haha.
Lovely blog post. I know what you mean about choosing something Primark to wear out on a typical 'student' Saturday night!
I wish I had 25 unworn dresses like you!

Lovely blog,
